While building a report,tracematrix etc if you want to export the details in excel
in Report
Click on left most icon of excel,It will export the report to excel
Note:If you want to import it back ,remove the first page ,keep the first page as the page with main contents.
In TraceMatrix:
Click on Export to excel incase you want to export to excel.
