Req Quality
Req Quality is a new feature introduced in Tracecloud.Req Quality is checked by the software when a requirement’s name and description are using definitive words like shall,must and will or ambiguous words like may,can etc.Req Quality score and req quality reason is calculated by the software.
Open a folder,requirement index page will open up.
2. Each requirement will have either a red flag or green flag.
Note: A red flag means the requirement name or requirement description or both don’t use definitive words like shall,must,will.This tells us that req name and description use ambiguous words or different set of words.When we open a requirement with red flag requirement shows a note with req quality reason.We can calculate the req quality score by seeing the note.
Req Quality in Folder Metrics
When we open a folder ,and open folder metrics tab , the metrics along with diagram opens up.It shows a category passed and failed.On clicking on the number below failed,the report of failed req quality check items opens up.
Req Quality in Report
On clicking on folder and right clicking open report option shows up.Once open report option is clicked ,a page opens.The standard attributes shows req quality score and req quality reason,on selecting them and running the report,report opens with the attributes.
Setting values for Req Quality
We can set values for req quality by going to configure project → Manage object Types → Select the desired object type.
2. Set the definitive values for name and description.
3. Select update req type.The values are now set.
4. Now select refresh req quality button.All the requirements in the folder will be checked for req quality.
