When you create an issue in Jira, you will notice a “TraceCloud Requirements” tab at the bottom. It should also say, this object doesn’t yet exist in TraceCloud
Connect this issue to TraceCloud
Click on the “Connect To TraceCloud” button.
This will take you to the “TraceCloud” screen where you will be asked to log into “TraceCloud” (if you are already logged in, it will take you to the connection screen.
At this point, select the project, and the folder where your requirements exist and connect this Jira object to the requirement object in TraceCloud.
This will create a proxy object in TraceCloud (JRA-xx) and trace it up the requirement object you just selected.
Navigate to TraceCloud
When you click on either the Requirement or the Jira proxy, it will open it up in TraceCloud.
Requirements Traceability In Jira
If you are looking inside the Jira system, you will see the relationship of this object to your requirements in TraceCloud.
Update to Jira
You can continue to use Jira normally. Any changes to Jira are automatically sent to TraceCloud and the trace relationship is set to suspect (red arrow), if the name / description value are changed.
Marking something completed in Jira will mark it as completed in TraceCloud too.
